Funding available for Recovery in the Community Activities
North Yorkshire Horizons is looking for people and groups to run Recovery in the Community activities. To help make this easier we have launched The Building Recovery in the Community Fund.
The Fund provides small grants, of up to £500, to support activities for the recovery community in North Yorkshire. Whether you want to start a new group, or you already run a group and want to open it up to people in recovery, the team want to hear from you.
Successful projects will benefit citizens of North Yorkshire who are affected by, or recovering from, substance addictions. Activities should be open to anyone in recovery and be intended to develop a group or community which helps sustain recovery. While social distancing may make some community activities trickier than usual, applications are currently being sought for online activities or those that follow social distancing guidelines.
You can find out more about The Building Recovery in the Community Fund on our Recovery in the Community webpage. You can also find out more information, and apply, by downloading the application form. Please send completed forms to communityfunding@nyhorizons.org.uk.
