Coming in to see us
Our priority is the safety of our service users, volunteers and staff.
We’ve been working really well with people over the phone and online but we know this doesn’t work for everyone. So more and more people are now able to see us face to face, where we agree it’s safe to do so.
We have re-organised our hubs to make them as safe as possible, following government advice. In addition, we have established new processes and procedures to keep everyone as safe as we can. We have prioritised face to face appointments for those who need them. We’re maintaining social distancing, and we’re encouraging everyone to wear face coverings and we’re adhering to a very strict cleaning regime.
Horizons stresses that people should always attend appointments at the allotted time – not attending on time may result in a missed appointment, needing to wait outside the Hub (please maintain social distance from others) or being offered another allotted time, due to restrictions on numbers that we can safely have in the buildings.

Covid symptoms
If you or anyone you live with has any of the COVID symptoms (high temperature, a new continuous cough, or loss of smell or taste – https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/symptoms/ please do not come to your allotted appointment at the hub and self-isolate – please call the Single Point of Contact to rearrange. If you have symptoms please arrange to be tested and do not leave your home for any other reason – further details on how to do this are available at https://www.northyorks.gov.uk/coronavirus-covid-19-testing.
