Karen from the Northallerton hub says thank you with art

A thank you note was left for a group worker on the back of this artwork.

Karen McBride wrote: “When I told you I loved drinking, you listened and let me work through my journey without judgement. Your honesty is what changed my direction.

“What you do for people going through the same as me really is appreciated, it doesn’t always come across like that but we are going through our issues and get there in the end”.

Group worker Kerry Bass said: “Reading something like this makes my job very worth­while and it’s moments like this that remind me why I love what I do.”
