Working with Horizons is very rewarding

Belinda joined the service in summer of 2018 and quickly established herself as a very important part of the Selby offering.

Stephen Flood, Volunteer and Peer Mentor Coordinator at North Yorkshire Horizons, said: “Belinda runs Alcohol Pathway Groups, supports and facilitates Recovery Cafés, runs mutual aid and SMART meeting and offers clients recovery advocacy and support. She’s regarded by colleagues as committed, capable and brave.”

Belinda, who has recently been offered a job with the NHS, said:  “I have found working for Horizons very rewarding. The biggest reward is being able to support people to reach their potential.”
